Amy Jonelle

Born and raised in the Denver metro area of Colorado, I grew up with daily views of the majestic Rocky Mountains and semi-annual road trips to visit grandparents that lived far away. A love of travel and exploration was instilled in me at a young age by my mom, who at the most random times, would decide to “get lost” while driving and then see if she could find her way home without using a map. It made most drives an adventure and I was hooked.

In 2011, I took my first international trip and solidified my love of travel. It was my first time experiencing a whole new culture and language, and meeting new people who looked and lived so differently from me, but who at the core were so similar. They had the same hopes, dreams, and desires. It was such an eye-opening experience, I could never go back to only seeing my little corner of the world.
